This session will raise awareness and understanding of U.S. government initiatives to strengthen international supply chain security and reduce opportunities for terrorist exploitation of containerized cargo received from foreign manufacturers and exporters. Information will be provided on the role and responsibilities of companies in helping to secure the international supply chain, focusing on key U.S. border security programs, such as the U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT). Participants will benefit from receiving information on preparing and applying for participation in these programs and maintaining participation over the long-term.
